Four easy eyeshadow looks using one palette
Mastering eyeshadow doesn’t have to be complicated. Whether you’re looking for an effortless daytime look or something a little more dramatic, a great eyeshadow palette can do it all🎨.
To create these four eye looks, I used the Bellapierre Cosmetics All Eyes On You eyeshadow palette, along with the Bourjois Paris Contour Clubbing Waterproof Liner (shade: Black Party) - which I got in my OK! Beauty Box subscription.
From soft everyday glam to a cut crease look, these beginner-friendly tutorials, and tips and tricks, will help you get the most out of your eyeshadow without the stress.
1.Soft everyday glam ✨
If you want a quick and polished look, this soft everyday glam is a go-to. It enhances your eyes subtly, making it perfect for work, brunch or whenever you want to look put-together with minimal effort.
How to achieve this look:
-
Blend the mid-toned brown shimmer into the crease with a fluffy brush.
-
Top tip, use light pressure and circular motions with your fluffy brush to get the perfect blend
-
Sweep the same shade lightly over the lid for a natural finish
-
Use the darker brown shade on a smaller brush along the lash line for soft definition
-
Add the lightest shimmery shade to your inner corners to brighten the eyes
-
Top tip, when working with shimmers, feel free to do your eyes before your base so you can wipe away any pigment that has fallen out.
-
Finish with a mascara for a polished touch.
❤️ Why you’ll love this look: It’s quick, effortless, and enhances your natural beauty without looking heavy.
2. Soft winged liner with a shimmery twist 🤎
A wing eyeliner look can be intimidating, but using brown eyeshadow instead makes it much easier to achieve a softer effect.
How to achieve this look:
-
Take an angled brush and apply the dark brown shade along the lash line, flicking it out slightly to create a soft wing.
-
You can make your wing as big or as small as you like, but I recommend starting small if you’re just starting out.
-
Take the lighter shimmery shade in the palette with a fluffy brush and lightly sweep it across the lid. Not only will this make your eyes sparkle, it’ll also help diffuse any harsh lines for a more blended look.
-
Finish with mascara to complete the look
❤️ Why you’ll love this look: It’s softer than traditional eyeliner and gives your eyes a lifted look without the need for precision.
3. The false eyelashes illusion 🖊️
Want the look of fuller lashes without the falsies? This black liner trick creates the illusion of thicker, more defined lashes in seconds.
How to achieve this look:
-
Take a fluffy brush and blend the darker shimmery shade across the whole lid
-
Take the black liner and apply it tightly along the upper lash line so there are no gaps between your eyelashes and the liner
-
Totally optional to add a wing to your eyeliner look.
-
Coat the lashes in black mascara, focusing on the roots to amplify the effect.
❤️ Why you’ll love this look: It takes your lash look from day to night without needing any false lashes!
4. Full glam sparkles 🎨
For those moments when you want to go all out, this full glam cut crease effect makes a statement. Using all four shades in the eyeshadow palette, this look brings depth, definition and drama.
How to achieve this look:
-
Start by blending the lightest shimmery shade across the whole lid with a fluffy brush
-
Deepen up the crease with the darker shimmery shade, remember to keep blending!
-
To make the look more dramatic, deepen the crease further with the darker brown shade by running it along the lashline and blending it out
-
Top tip, wet your flash brush with some setting spray before tapping it into the sparkly pigment to pick more up on the brush.
-
Tap the sparkles onto the centre of the lid and then tap the excess on the inner and outer corners of the eyelid.
-
Add some dramatic black eyeliner
-
Finish off with some mascara
❤️ Why you’ll love this look: It’s the ultimate eye-catching look, perfect for those nights out or special occasions.
Whether you prefer soft and natural or bold and dramatic, these four easy techniques will help you make the most of your OK! Beauty Box All Eyes On You Edit.
